UV degradation has always been an ongoing problem facing the pultrusion industry, and in the past the only way to prevent color fading was to paint the handrail, but now CPI has enhanced their Yellow resin formulation, which enables them to improve the color retention over a prolonged period of time. CPI now offers advanced color protection at the same low cost. Please review the attached picture comparing the old yellow, and the new yellow. Notice that the new improved version has very little degradation after 2000 hours exposure to UV light.
